Student Exhibitions
One of your requirements during the year consists of organizing your own art exhibit in the display case at the front of the school. This is your opportunity to share your work with your peers and teachers. Your finest works from any art classes should be displayed. If it is not appropriate for school, it is not appropriate to put in the display case. You must show Mrs. B the pieces you intend to put into your display prior to hanging them. You will lose 10 points if you do not follow this requirement. Your senior solo show will be worth 100 points.
REQUIREMENTS
CRITIQUE
As a class, we will participate in a critique for each solo show. Each student will be responsible for assessing the work of the featured artist in both written and verbal format. Peer feedback and thoughtful criticism from other perspectives is essential to an artist’s growth. It is vital that this critique is student-led and that all students participate in a thoughtful, active manner.
